A good beginner's glove, suitable for practice or electrical fencing, with many quality features. Leather or Synthetic suede palm and fingers for good hand protection and blade feel. The back of the hand and cuff is made of polyester and is pleasantly padded to cushion against the occasional thwack of opponent's blade; the glove also boasts a double layer of leather over thumb, forefinger and lower part of the palm where gloves get the most wear. Velcro closure on the cuff allows for custom fit over jacket sleeve and secure pathway for body cord. A fine value, perfect for the first time fencer. Sold individually. Colors vary.

A more advanced leather glove for when the beginner becomes more serious, with special features to enhance electrical fencing. The good protection and feel of the leather palm is reinforced by a double-layer of leather over the points of greatest wear, where the handle meets the hand- on thumb, forefinger and lower part of palm. This glove differs from the Basic ( PC G 200) by having the lightly padded back of the hand covered with a rip-resistant layer of cotton which helps point of opponent's blade slide off without setting off a light, a big help in epee and foil. The other difference is that the back of the cuff, further on, is not padded, and thereby continues the potential for slide as well as allowing the cuff to draw in closer and so present less target, while still allowing body cord to snake securely through. A glove with the good blade feel of leather, well thought out features, and very snazzy looking as well. Sold individually.

From first lesson to first competitions - a good beginner's mask that is also good for all levels of domestic USFA competitions in foil and epee, and is a solid practice mask for ( non-electric) saber with a noise-reducing vinyl head band. Available in 5 sizes, adjustable for custom fit. Outside: strong (passes 12kg punch test) with insulated mesh; pliable, felt-filled sewn-in bib (largest allowable) that lays close to the jacket, protecting the neck, unlike stiff bibs that curl up dangerously around the edges. Inside: lined for comfort with non-irritating fabric; hygienic because lining is cleanable; fitted for extra safety with forehead restraint to prevent mask from jamming against nose in a jarring contact and detachable elastic strap holds the bottom of the head close, just as tab holds in the top. The least expensive multi-featured mask available and a good one, too. Lining and bib colors vary.

Don't be put of by the off-white color. It is a fine jacket, built specifically for beginners. Remember: to avoid shrinkage, as with any 100% cotton garment, it should only be washed in cool or cold water and never put in the dryer.

Women's Right Handed Nylon underarm protector, absorbent lining

This nylon underarm protector is a significant advance over the usual design. Instead of the normal two plies of unbreathing fabric held close against heat and sweat, this nylon has a terry cloth liner to absorb moisture and let heat trickle out. It is held close by a standard single strap around the rib cage and features a Velcro, micro-adjustable collar strap for perfect seating. Even with slender addition of the terry cloth liner, the deluxe is still supple and fits under a nylon jacket without a ruffle.
