X-Fencing Y-shape S-2000 regulation sabre blade

The X-Fencing Y S2000 is the first step into high end blades where the basic shape of the blades is refined to give better balance. It is thicker at the base to center the weight of the saber in the hand. The Y refers to the shape of the middle of the blades after steel has been scooped off either side to reduce over all weight and especially point-heaviness. The X-Fencing Y with its better balance retains its form faithfully in spite of the hard knocks of heavy fencing.

Standard S2000 Sabre Blade
This is a standard budget sabre blade. This blade meets the S2000 requirements for USFA competitions. This blade comes in standard adult size (size 5) only. These blades are fully tempered which means that the tangs can be a bit difficult to cant. Care should be taken in trying to put a set in the tang.
