Kevlar thread is the perfect choice for tying bass bugs saltwater steelhead salmon and streamer patterns. Many tiers also use it for "spinning" deer and elk hair for hair bugs. This thread is very strong and you can cut yourself with it if you try to break it by hand. This pre-waxed thread is about the size of 2/0 or size "A" thread and builds up fast on the hook.

We have kept the magnetic pad in the bottom to effectively hold smaller fly patterns, and we have included an extra foam strip so that you can customize your box (we use ours to divide the magnet in half). You can also secure your box by attaching the leash (run it through the hole in the lower right hand corner and tie an overhand knot) to your lanyard or vest.
