Ultra Thread is a strong flat smooth lightly waxed slow building nylon thread. UTC 140 is great general purpose thread for trout and other flies in the 6 to 16 size. This tread will serve the beginning fly tier well as it is not too bulky and it strength prevents breaking the thread until proper techniques are learned. UTC 210 is an excellent for deer hair steelhead salmon saltwater and other flies in the 1/0 to 12 size.

- The medium vinyl rib thread is great for crazy charlies.
We stock this vinyl rib in extra small/midge (1/64") small/nymph (1/32") medium (3/64") and large (1/16") . The extra small size is great for midge bodies the small size is a good material for ribbing and abdomens on nymphs scuds and makes great bodies on smaller saltwater patterns. The medium vinyl rib is great for size 4 through 8 Crazy Charlies Gotchas and other saltwater patterns and the large is best used on size 1/0 to 6 hooks for both saltwater and stonefly patterns.
